Affiliate Disclaimer

We love sharing our best travel tips, and of course, reading along is free for everyone.

Northabroad is completely self-financed. Keeping the servers humming, and whatever else is required to run a website, comes directly out of our personal pockets.

All content on the website has been written by us, and it is important for us to point out that we always write about our honest opinions – and that they cannot be bought.

We have chosen to have an ad-free website in the sense that we do not use banner ads or pop-up ads.

In general, we find them annoying and think they interfere with the reading experience.

But we do use affiliate links.

What’s an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a link where we receive a small commission if you click and buy something through it – at no additional cost to you, of course.

For example, if you use one of our affiliate links to book a hotel room, we get a small percentage of the hotel website’s profits.

We don’t get paid merely to mention a product or a service, therefore affiliate links aren’t advertising in a traditional sense.

Most of our external links are not affiliate links, and we insert them because we genuinely believe and hope they are useful to you.

Our readers come first and we only use affiliate links for products and services that we can personally vouch for.

If you use our affiliate links, you greatly help support Northabroad and we will be very grateful!

In doubt about anything? Contact us and we’ll respond as quickly as possible.

Thanks for reading!
