We've just published a guide to one of the most iconic sunset spots in Tuscany on our travel blog 🌅⁠

We visited this place a few years ago and it was already quite popular back then – with cars parked along the road and photographers lining their tripods in the same direction 😄⁠
⁠
Still, it was absolutely stunning. There's something about the way the light hits the rolling hills and cypress trees that makes it feel straight out of a painting.⁠

From what we hear, it’s only gotten more crowded since – and a bit more "organised" too. The spot is actually on private land owned by the agriturismo visible in the photos, and they’ve now put up a large sign with their name.⁠

We’re happy we got to see it when we did. And we’re happy to share it – because it’s genuinely beautiful. But we’re also always wondering… Are we helping too many people find the same place? Or just pointing them towards a moment they’ll never forget?⁠

This ancient temple was almost lost forever… and

This ancient temple was almost lost forever… and it’s incredible that it’s still standing today! 😱

Thanks to an amazing rescue mission, this gem was moved to a gorgeous island near Aswan where it stands preserved in all its glory ✨

The best part? Getting there is half the adventure. A beautiful boat ride takes you across the waters to this peaceful sanctuary where crowds are smaller than other popular Egyptian sites.

Unlike the busy temples of Luxor, this temple dedicated to the goddess of Isis offers breathtaking natural beauty AND ancient wonders without the overwhelming amount of tourists.

Arrive early or late in the day and you can actually take photos without other people in your shots! 📸

Trust us, this underrated spot deserves a place on your Egypt bucket list 🇪🇬🏛️

Autumn in Copenhagen 🫶

This nature spot is huge and located just next to the city, but only few people venture out here 🥰

Apart from all the cute cows, we love the expansive views, the birch forests and the coastal areas 🐄🌳🌊

Getting out here is easy.

Either take the metro all the way and walk the last bit or go by bike to explore even more. Most of the paths are bike-friendly and it’s very flat!

We had so much fun discovering Bremen’s hidden gems as well as experiencing the popular sights and areas this summer 🫶

Being full of great things to do while still being very walkable, it quickly became one of our favourite cities in Germany (and we have been to quite a few at this point!) 🥰

Here are our top highlights:

1. Schnoor (Schnoorviertel) – Charming, narrow and colourful houses.

2. Bürgerpark – The city’s (huge) green heart.

3. Statue of the famous Town Musicians (Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten) – Unmissable city icon.

4. Schlachte – Beer gardens by the river.

5. Osterdeich – Relax along the Weser River.

6. Bremen Town Hall (Bremer Rathaus) – Stunning town hall on the market square.

7. Viertel – Bremen’s liveliest neighbourhood (where we stayed).

8. Wallanlagen Park + Mühle am Wall – The old city walls with a picturesque old windmill.

9. Drink coffee - Bremen is one of Germany’s top coffee destinations.

10. Statue of Roland – A symbol of freedom.

11. St. Peter’s Cathedral (Bremer Dom) – The city’s most important church.

12. Böttcherstraße – A historic street.

13. Botanika – Asian-themed botanical gardens.

While you probably could cram in some of the best things to do in Bremen in a day, we really recommend staying for at least one or two nights to discover the city’s true charm ❤️

🏡 Schnoor - Tiny colourful houses in Bremen’s oldest neighborhood.

⚓️ Schlachte - Best place in town for a drink by the river.

☕️ The coffee scene - The process for decaf was invented in Bremen!

🌳 Bürgerpark - Huge park right by the city centre.

🫏🐕🐈🐓 Statue of the famous Town Musicians - An unmissable Bremen icon.

⛪️ The market square - Check out the town hall, the statue of Roland and the cathedral.

🥳 Viertel - Where we stayed and the best area for food and nightlife.

🌾 Wallanlagen Park and the old windmill - Great place for a stroll.

We loved the balance in Bremen between city life and nature. Even though it’s a relatively big city, a green park or the river is never far away! 🫶

We recently returned from a wonderful road trip to Northern Germany where we visited the German Riviera for the first time 🥰🇩🇪

What we found was a lovely holiday region, full of both relaxation and surprises 🫶

Here are our top 3 reasons to visit the Mecklenburg Baltic Coast:

1. The amazing beaches 🏖️
You’re never far away from cosy beach towns, long stretches of fine sand with the iconic beach baskets and the calm ocean.

2. The famous ghost forest 👻
We loved our walk through Nienhagen’s Gespensterwald, admiring the often more than 100-year old twisted trees.

3. Ride the historic steam train 🚂
‘Molli’ is such a cool way to travel from town to town. While of course slower than driving yourself, it makes for a much more charming and scenic journey.

Happy summer! 😍

While we have mostly stayed close to home (apart from a lovely week in London 🇬🇧), the Copenhagen weather has been plenty hot for us ☀️

Perhaps the Mediterranean will call us back with her song of sand and sea once the days grow noticeably shorter here in the north. We’ll see 😏

Nevertheless, it has been amazing to be back from our long trip to Thailand and Bali earlier this year. Since returning, Alex turned 32 and Adrian turned 1. Becoming parents has been more fun and giving than we would ever have imagined 🥹

In a few days we’re packing the car to drive to Germany for the third summer in a row. We’re actively missing our friendly southern neighbour so we can’t wait! 🫶🇩🇪
