We’ve been to Bali and its neighbouring islands as a couple, with one child and later with two, and the stays keep getting longer.

With daily offerings on the pavement and a temple ceremony never far away, the Island of the Gods has become a kind of second home. Adrian even spent two months at a nursery here last time.

We love the people, the food options, the landscapes, and yes, we’re already plotting a return.
